Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving (Colossians 4:2)(KJV)

We all have prayers that are waiting for God's answer. Listen to apostle Paul; He commands 2 things : continue and watch. Firstly we ought to continue our fervent prayers to God every day. Secondly we need to watch" (to be vigilant, attentive) even as we continually pray to "determinedly watch" for moments to give our thanksgiving to God! Not to be unmindful of Lord's blessings and undeserved merits in our life. Let us give thanks for everything in our life each time as we pray!!!!.

As we pray over someone, be grateful for God's selection! As we pray for Souls/ revival, in our church, let us tach God for the promise that says he will be found by those who seek him. Today as we pray give thanks to Him

The everlasting God...fainteth not, neither is weary (Isaiah 40:28)

If there is one who is ever present everywhere (omnipresent) it's God, the father. We may make promises with words like “always", or “never", but we cannot know or guarantee with certainty of our lifespan or our abilities. But when Jesus, says he will be with us "always, even to the end of the world," HE is able to fulfill that promise being the "Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending" of everything (Revelation 1:8).He is the Alpha, the origin of our existence, He is the Omega, the ending, of our existence, every one of us will eventually face judgement day to receive either our just or merciful sentence. Our lives will all end in God!!!!

If we have embraced the covenant of salvation (Hebrews 13:20), our everlasting God will be our ever-present comfort and strength and salvation!! If we have a God who doesn’t faint or become weary, why do WE who are have our origin in Christ become weary ?? When we become faint / weary we are not giving due honour to our father and our redeemer! So, take courage today, in whatever you face, remember we serve a LIVING God, who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us. Let us glorify Him by Christ Jesus forever!! He will give us VICTORY for HE is our GLORY and LIFTER of our head!

He spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint (Luke 18:1)(KJV)

The parable of "the unjust judge" is to teach us to never quit praying. It is about a widow who has been wronged. Although the judge she appeals to is corrupt, uncaring, and godless, he eventually hears the widow's case; not because he changes his mind or character, but because she is so persistent with her request. If a wicked and unfair judge would hear a case simply because of a widow's persistence, then how much more will our Father, Almighty God in heaven, who delights to care for the needs of his children, hear and answer our prayers? He may delay, for his own good reasons, but he will certainly be sensitive to our cries. We may feel tempted to faint in our prayers to God for reasons like feeling a sense of unworthiness, or because of no apparent answer, the temptation may cause us to take matters into our own hands. But Jesus says always, always pray!'nn Do not faint.!!!! You are being heard by your just and caring and tender Father, even as you speak.

Every word of God is pure (Proverbs 30:5)

In whatever we do on this earth (when talking with friends, reading, browsing Internet) we must have a filter on...to see if the ideas , lessons or moral are correct. But when we read the Word of God, if we filter through our own understanding, there is a chance to contaminate, rather than purify, the ideas which are conveyed!! Every word of God is pure and true without a dot of foolishness or falsehood. So allow (The Holy Bible) the unadulterated word of God to wash over us, cleansing every prejudice, ambition, worldly knowledge and ideology. Like Abraham who against hope believed in hope and allow God's Word be a standard (pair of glasses to look through) which we view the rest of our world we deal with on a day to day basis!

In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven(Matthew 5:16)
Yesterday while praying I had a burden to pray for all first born children! Tried to cover all first borns I know and remembered!  Today, as I read these words the same thoughts crossed my mind to continue to pray for all children we know but covering our first borns as well ! Like Paul writes to Timothy let us pray that our children should remain in the guidance of Holy Spirit at all times. For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline" (2 Timothy 1:7).When children are young they depend on us to do everything for them. We consistently pray for their well being, as well as their will to succeed. As they grow old, we must keep them in our prayers and release them to the Lord. Pray over them trusting in God with all of our hearts that they may not be anxious about anything but grow in the grace and knowledge of God. Let us also pray the Aaronic  blessing over all children we know "The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace" (Numbers 6:24-26).

I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves (Matthew 10:16)

According to the worldly law no one would make "Sheep" charge over "wolves", but His Kingdom works against human logic! When we hear of Christians under persecution or becoming martyrs they’re fulfilling their Master-Shepeherd’s calling being like sheep amongst wolfs. Although we are promised victory in this struggle against the wolves, Jesus warns us not to be careless or reckless in our behavior. We need to behave with wisdom and cunningness of serpents, whilst maintaining the warmth and gentleness of doves. We are not given a choice as to whether or not to engage the enemy: Jesus says, "I am sending you.” (So, when you face wolf, remember we have no choice but to be wise like serpent, yet harmless like dove!!) Neither do we have a choice of methods: Jesus says your weapons are wisdom and kindness, not cruelty or force.

Dear Child of God, in short our mission is an unusual; we are sent into this world, as sheep amongst wolves. Our weapons are not tooth/claw but softness dabbed with wisdom. Our weapons are sanctified and it seems like an unlikely battle, but we are promised COMPLETE VICTORY through Jesus Christ. So HOLD on to HIM more, coz HE alone can give us VICTORY in this unlikely battle of life!

God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life (1 John 5:11-12)

We can do without things like smartphones, malls, insurances, loans but we cannot do without the Son of God. Our life is temporary. Nothing lives forever. But God has given us eternal life in His Son Jesus Christ. We cannot live forever in our own strength. Only Jesus can carry us through death and bring us into an everlasting life on the other shore!

Eternal life(abundant life in Christ) begins when Jesus Christ takes up residence in our heart. The one who doesn't have the Son has no such promise or joyful reality. The good news of the gospel is only to those who have Jesus Christ. So then if we  have chosen the good portion let us hold on to Christ and obey The Word of God and strive to run a good race to win the crown of life and to spend eternity with Christ!
